We understand the body as the place where thought and practice, art and life intersect to go across creation. How do we train the body to be aware of being contemporary? What collective practices allow the singularity to emerge? How to create a continuous movement from the body towards the camera to resonate in the image? What exercises can we practice to incorporate the camera as an extension of the body? Rayén Mitrovich and Alejandro Iturra are two Chilean artists who come from contemporary dance and film. During the last years they have research the relationship between body, image and context through experimentation of the body in movement. From collaborative projects with communities and artistic residencies in different territories, they have made choreographic, performance and audiovisual experiences.
