<\/p>\r\nK. Verlag is a Berlin-based publishing atelier advancing new forms of the book-as-exhibition. We collaborate internationally with artists, writers, and institutions to develop carefully selected, bespoke publications by applying a curatorial-editorial approach. \r\n\r\nThe book-as-exhibition pushes the boundaries of the traditional exhibition catalog; whereas the latter accompanies a project as a secondary compendium, K.\u2019s publications are singular, stand-alone works realized through and within the microarchitecture of the book. Starting from this concept, we prepare each project meticulously in order to relay content and form through precise editing and unique design.\r\n
<\/p>\r\nThis practice of book-making engenders provocative encounters with art, science, design, politics, and ecology. Previous projects by K. have engaged themes of naturecultures, post\/colonialism and ethnography, geopolitics and environmental violence, as well as visual culture, literature, dance, and feminism.
