The last decade has especially witnessed more daring and authentic storytelling of LGBT+ narratives in contrast to the ever-rising oppression and censorship of the political and social powers.The focus of this short lecture is to outline the transforming representations in queer cinema practices in Turkey.<!--more-->\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\nMerve Naml\u0131 is a Journalist (Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, TAZ, \u00d6zg\u00fcr\u00fcz and various international media outlets), conference interpreter, curator (Future East Festival, D\u00fcmtek), activist and radiomaker (Cashmere Radio, THF Radio).
